To install a 3.15kw LG solar system on a house currently running a 1kw Solar System, without jeopardising the 60c gross tariff already being received on the existing system.

This solution allows the new 3kW system to operate efficiently under the current net feed-in tariff, while the existing 1kW system continues to operate independently under the 60c gross tarrif system. The new dual input SMA inverter was specifically chosen to allow for the existing 1kW array to be added to the new inverter at the end of the 60c gross tariff period. This will combine both arrays to one inverter and one net meter, increasing efficiency and decreasing required maintenance on the system.
